And HE will come for sure..

(In this poem, ‘Death’ is personified..)

I grew with him, he’s no stranger,
And after so many years,
I know he’s still waiting for me,
Waiting to take me with him,
Waiting to take me for good.
But still I want him to wait a little more,
I want to enjoy the springs ahead,
Before the autumn dawns,
Before he comes and he will come for sure.
Still he shows such love and care,
Will follow me everywhere,
Under the veil of his demure nature,
I know lays the worst fear.
Gentle as he might be,
I have no heart for him,
I call him fraud, I call him traitor,
As tomorrow he will find some other,
Unhurried as I want him to be,
I know he will come for sure,
I’m not ready, I’m not ready,
Have to do lots before,
Un-noticed he will come I know,
And he will come for sure…
