Familiar faces though known,
Were strangers in a ‘common world’,
One among them came up with a smile,
A friendly nod and ‘curiosity’ for a while.
A gaze that made me pry
For things I couldn’t guess why,
Words exchanged and stories shared,
A friendship I would say I dared.
A past forgotten and future unseen,
We became friends on a common theme
‘extinct emotions’ I say can be lived again,
For a friend for life, I have his name.
Things turned sour and silence persued,
For in the ‘common world’, the name was used,
He moved away, which felt odd
“Its for your good” he said and I gave a thought.
Have got hurt many times before
Friendship is something I abhorred,
But with time I think I believe,
Its never “too late” before I leave…

Without speaking of the thoughts you had while writing this beautiful master piece. I think this piece of writing has made you bought a little closer to me. And a line of thought for you "Unexpected should be always expected in life".
