CALLING ME…

Someone is calling me from outside
I opened the door but found no one
The voice so familiar, I hear it often
She wants me to be free,
Wants me to be like her...

In my dream, she bespoke my life,
Her face so vague, but she beckoned,
I was tied with rope so fragile
Entangled in my self, I realized what she meant.

I was lost in the world around me,
My virtues suppressing my emotions,
She showed me where I stand,
I wailed, as she told me the truth.

“Live life for yourself” she said beamingly
Calling my name one again loudly,
She left me with myself,
In queer silence...

I looked in the mirror,
And recognized the girl in my dream,
Calling me from outside…
I answered when she called again,
As now I know what I am…..I am free!!!

This is what I can call as a real life experience poem. Thoughts as it came about ur own self exhibited beautifully in words.
